Any way that you can help me. She married a William Metcalf and had a lot of children our line follows Thomas George Metcalf and Simon Watling Metcalf Her parents are possibly Ham Watling and Margaret Able. Paul Ashton   07/12/2010 02:18 h	Hi all thanks for putting all this together about the Whatlings, Arthur Whatling was a very good friend and companion of my Grandmother Doreen Beattie and was known to me as Uncle Arthur , although I knew some of his life story such as being a Bevan Boy going down the coal mines being a plumber for the council and his immediate family Doris and Joyce, I knew little about his parents and other family members ; both myself and my sister Susan will be reading this with interest, Regards Paul.
