PLACES THE FAMILY WOULD HAVE KNOWN

Our family hails from Suffolk and in particular The Hoxne Hundred.
The earliest place they lived that I could find is Worlingworth (Roberte Watlinge 1543 - 1592
Brome, Wilby, Horham, Stradbroke, Wingfield. Hoxne, Cross Street have all seen our ancestors.
By the mid 1800's they had moved to Norwich in Norfolk and later to Birkenhead on 'The Wirral' and Merseyside. about 1880

In the 1841 census they were living in Hoxne. This is The Parish Church

Stradboke Parish Church

In the 1851 census they were living in Stradbroke. This is The Parish Church

After being 'Removed' from Stradbroke in 1823 they used the Baptist Church to Baptiize " all the Vincents"

A Norwich 'Yard' It could well be Ray's Yard off Sussex Street where the family lived in the 1860's
